Sarah & Will

Yellow Floral-Filled Wedding at Junior League
We don’t get to see a lot of yellow-heavy weddings, but having the color everywhere made this late-August affair so cheerful and vibrant that we truly loved it!
This is what Sarah said when we inquired about how she and the Belle Events team chose the wedding day design: “I always wanted yellow. It’s a bit different than some of the standard color palettes we see. Also none of my family was surprised I chose yellow – it’s been the color of my childhood bedroom for my whole life. I also loved the princess Belle and often dressed up in the yellow Belle dress.” She truly looked just like a princess on her wedding day!
The Details
We absolutely loved hearing about Sarah and Will’s wedding day ensembles – they were both so sentimental and full of meaning for each of them!
“My mom’s dress from when her and my dad got married in 1992 had a lot of beading. She knew my sister and I wouldn’t wear it, so she made it into items we could both use/wear. Which included the robe i wore to get ready in, garter, handkerchiefs, jewelry roll, clutch I wore for rehearsal dinner. Also the gown I chose from CDN that is a Monique Luihller is named “Lucky” which is such a cute and fitting name – it solidified that it was the one. Jewelry – the diamond bracelet I wore was from Will on our one year anniversary. And the diamond earrings I wore were a wedding gift from my parents given to me on my birthday this year so that I would be able to wear them for bridal portraits. The cuff links Will wore are engraved with his hunting outfit’s logo – he has a hunting business down in the El Campo area. His mom had those made and gave it to him for Christmas this past year after we got engaged.”
Our sweet couple also included some really fun details like flower-shaped menus, and custom koozies. When asked for her favorite details from the day, Sarah replied, “I (and everyone else) LOVED the menus – these were really Michael’s idea after I started thinking about using the flower from the invitations as the menu card. I also loved the cups/koozies that said “Virginia is for Lovers” and “Deep in Heart of Texas” for the two places we are from.”
Kind Words for KH Collective
“They were truly part of the wedding day! Such kind loving people that are there to do a fabulous job at photographing but are also there to make everyone that they’re photographing feel comfortable.
Loved everything – pictures captured so much more of the day than I could’ve imagined! Little details that had so much meaning and shots that I would not have even been able to remember how it felt on my own!”
