Upscale Wedding at Hotel Zaza Museum District

Meg & Charles

Meg & Charles chose St. Luke’s United Methodist for their vows, and then the classic Hotel Zaza Museum District for their reception. Planner Kailee Roberts and a fabulous vendor team took this sweet bride’s Nantucket-inspired design and transformed the space with dreamy white and blue florals, and a host of other nautical accents.

The Bridal Look

Meg was a vision in her Amsale gown and Chanel flats, and wore her “mom’s wedding earrings that [her] grandparents gave her on her wedding day!”

Special Details

Since our bride’s family went to Nantucket every summer of her childhood and that’s where her parents met, she wanted to embody as much of the nautical theme as she could, and she absolutely loved the sailboat with the “his” & “hers” drinks on it!

The groom’s cake was one of the coolest that we’ve seen, and the story behind it is even better! Meg told us, “Charles smokes a brisket almost every Sunday for a different group of friends each week, and has gained the nickname of the pit master. I knew I wanted to surprise him with something resembling the smoker!”
