Elements of Fall at The St. Regis Hotel

We always love hearing what inspired our couples to choose their unique wedding designs, and Aldon’s inspo combined a love of fall and a love of all things Texas. When we asked where she found her design inspo, she told us, “True Texas fall! I wanted to incorporate nods to Texas fall without it being overdone, and still have some color. For the ceremony space, with having to fit so many people in there we wanted to find a way to make the room feel bigger and airy! We kept all greens for the ceremony to keep it more grounded and earthy, then had color all over the reception with florals.”

We think their planning team, Kyeria and Cynthia of In Reverie Weddings, knocked it out of the park, and we’re still dreaming about the gorgeous ceremony space & altar!

The Bridal Look

Our precious bride was breathtaking in her Vera Wang gown and Monique Lhuillier topper, paired with Dolce Vita shoes and her mom’s jewelry. And Evan looked oh-so-dapper in his custom Tom James tux, Steve Madden shoes, and custom cuff links.

Aldon said that for special touches, “We had a heart from one of my baby blankets cut out and sewed into the lining of the dress! Evan had the official UT logo on the inside lining of his tux- that was important to him since his whole family is die hard UT. I borrowed my moms earrings with sapphires for my something blue and borrowed!”

Favorite Touches

Overall this sweet couple loved their whole design, but a few things stood out to them. “The moss table with the table assignments – I have never seen moss be incorporated so when Cynthia threw that idea out, I couldn’t stop thinking about using it. We also loved how the florals were up on top of the stage instead of a group façade.

I always wanted a very vintage inspired cake I think they are just so timeless! During the tasting, when the cake came out- out of the three we all LOVED the Lemon with vanilla buttercream so that’s what we picked!”
