River Oaks Country Club Wedding: The Design

Allison & Harrison’s wedding was in early April and she told us, “We just wanted a clean, crisp, fresh, springy wedding! We began with a very set color them of light blue and greens, and mid January we decided to embrace the change of the season and incorporate all spring colors for florals!”

Favorite Details

Our sweet bride said that her top 3 favorite details from the wedding were, “Harrison’s signed cowboy hat and seeing our names together for the first time! Our cups that read “The Harps” made me smile when I opened the box 3 months ago! I loved seeing our names together on the invitation and transfer to the joining name.”

The Looks

Allison was a vision in her Suzanne Neville gown and Dolce Vita shoes. She completed her look with earrings from her paternal grandmother, her maternal grandmother’s wedding ring as her right hand ring, a necklace gifted from her dad when she was born, a pearl bracelet that was a gift from her mom. The stitching underneath her wedding dress was an extra special handwritten note from her grandmother.

As for Harrison, he was dapper in a custom tux and custom boots from Jesse Boots 1960.

Allison’s Best Advice

“Don’t worry if anything goes wrong or is not as expected, because most likely only you and your parents will ever know! My mom told me ‘if we walk into that ballroom and it’s all black, you just smile and no one will ever know that it’s not what you planned!'”
